Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between strategic planning, educational sustainability, and the economics of education in light of Saudi Vision 2030 from the perspective of employees of the Ministry of Education. The study employed a descriptive-analytical method using a mixed approach (document analysis and questionnaire). The sample consisted of 150 employees from planning, quality, and development departments. The results revealed a high level of strategic planning implementation (Mean = 4.18) and educational sustainability (Mean = 4.09). A strong correlation was found between strategic planning, educational sustainability, and education economics (r = 0.813) with an explanatory model (R² = 0.81). The findings confirmed that strategic planning serves as a key driver for achieving educational sustainability and improving spending efficiency, which positively impacts the economics of education. The study recommends establishing a Strategic Coordination Unit within the Ministry of Education, developing training programs in performance management, and strengthening international partnerships to achieve comprehensive educational sustainability aligned with Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
