The Degree of Mathematics Teacher in Public School in Jerash Governorate Possess Educational Competences Based on STEM Approach

Abstract

This Study aimed to identify the degree of mathematics teacher in public school in Jerash Governorate possess educational competences based on STEM approach from their perspective, the researcher used the descriptive approaches, study Sample consisted from (160) Female and male mathematics teacher, chosen randomly, to collect data Questioner used, which consisted (23) paragraph divided to three sector, the result of SPSS analysis shown that the degree of mathematics teacher in public school in Jerash Governorate possess educational competences based on STEM approach was moderated with average (3.62 out of 5) , the finding also showed there is no statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) refers to teacher sex (male and female) and to the years of experience. In light of these results, the study recommended holding training courses that develop STEM-based educational competencies for mathematics teachers in public schools.
