Patterns of attachment among 11th and 12th graders in the schools of South Sharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman

Abstract

 The aim of this study was to identify the most common attachment patterns among 11th and 12th graders in the schools of South Sharqia Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The research followed the descriptive method. The study was conducted on a random sample of students (grades 11 and 12) The research found that the most common attachment patterns among students of the 11th and 12th grades were the type of attachment in the first place with an average of (1) 3.42) to a high degree (3.20) and the middle grade. The attachment pattern was the third place with an average of (2.20). The study also showed significant differences at the level of 0.05 دلالة (α) between males and females in two types of attachment (safe, For males, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05)) between the eleventh and twelfth grades in two types of attachment (safe, anxious) and for the twelfth grade. The variable of the educational path showed no significant differences (0.05 دلالة) between pure and applied students in all attachment patterns.
