Aims & Scope

The Journal of Arabic Language and Literature (JALSL); is a scientific, international, refereed, quarterly journal, concerned with Arabic language sciences and literature. Published by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of the foundation of the Arab Journal of Sciences and Research Publishing, in cooperation with the Center for Research, Palestine. The journal reviews and publishes original, serious academic research in Arabic and English. The first editor-in-chief is Prof. Maher Fouad Al-Jabali.

 

Aims

The journal is in constant ambition to achieve the following aims:

1. Developing literary competencies specialized in the field of Arabic language and literature. With an emphasis on striving for leadership in scientific publishing specialized in the field.
2. Developing the scientific research movement in the field of Arabic language and literature, paying attention to scientific publishing, and focusing on developing the capabilities of researchers in the field of scientific research and creative writing.
3. Developing students' scientific research skills, in a way that contributes to the development of scientific research, and contributes to the international publication of original peer-reviewed research.
4. Showcasing new serious topics that keep pace with the community's movement, keeping it close.
5. Adopting a comprehensive vision in order to secure a place for it in the list of international scientific journals, by bringing in the best specialized board and authors within the limits of its field.
6. Strengthening scientific and cultural relations and links with Arabic language departments in Arab and International universities by building a research database specialized in Arabic language and literature so that it will be a reference for all academics and postgraduate students.
