Abstract

The research aimed to study faith awareness and its impact on self-purification. Islam, in its social and educational system, relies on a set of general rules and regulations, stemming from faith and Islamic law. These principles primarily aim to strengthen the relationship between man and his Creator, the Almighty, and between man and the universe in general. From these two principles, the Islamic doctrine branched out into various aspects of life. In the words of the Holy Qur'an, all human beings are connected by a bond greater than land, race, and color: the bond of worship. Worship is a complete life experience that organizes the movements and activities of human groups, providing them with a meaning for life that transcends the daily struggles of subsistence. Hence, the importance of a Muslim understanding the value of worship, represented by faith awareness and the required, sustained vigilance, as well as the methods and motivations for increasing faith awareness and its impact on the individual Muslim, especially the youth and young adults, and consequently, the impact on the entire Muslim nation. The research relied on the descriptive analytical approach. The research concluded in its most important results by emphasizing the knowledge of faith awareness and its impact on the Muslim soul and its performance in general, and that there are ways to increase faith awareness in Muslims and ways to awaken the heart and sustain the awakening of the Muslim soul, and that there are reasons to maintain faith awareness and its relationship to worship in general, and that there are cases and models from ancient and contemporary history that confirm the connection between awareness, purification, and action.
