Abstract

This study examines the impact of modern technology and digital applications on enhancing artistic taste among interior designers. It analyzes the role of advanced software, modeling tools, and virtual reality technologies in improving the design process. The research adopts a descriptive–analytical approach to explore how digital tools are utilized in shaping interior spaces and to assess their contribution to developing designers’ aesthetic sensitivity and creative abilities. The findings indicate that integrating technology into interior design enhances the quality of design outcomes, increases accuracy in visualization and execution, and expands opportunities for innovation through interactive simulation environments that support diverse design experimentation. Results also show that the use of computers and advanced software strengthens designers’ ability to perceive spatial, chromatic, and formal relationships, positively influencing the development of artistic taste. The study recommends reinforcing the integration of technology in education and training programs and improving designers’ digital competencies to meet contemporary design demands.
