The Role of Directors of General Education Schools in Achieving the Objectives of the Health Schools Program in Riyadh

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of the directorates of public education schools in achieving the objectives of the health-promoting school program in Riyadh and the difficulties faced by school principals in implementing the health-promoting school program in Riyadh city.
The researcher adopted the descriptive descriptive approach. The study community consisted of the female health counselors in the implementing schools of the health promotion schools in Riyadh city (122). The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting the necessary data for this study. 122 of them using SPSS were 111.
Highlights of the study:
- Health counselors often agree on the role of directorates of public education schools in achieving the objectives of the health-promoting school program in Riyadh, where the tool obtained an average of (3.81).
- Health counselors agree that school principals are often faced with difficulties in implementing the Riyadh-based subsidized school program with an average of 3.69.
