The Role of the School in the Development of Social Responsibility
 from the point of view school Headmasters in Ajloun/Jordan.

Abstract: The study aimed to investigates the school in developing the social responsibility of its students from the point of view of school Headmasters in Ajloun/Jordan. To achieve this aim, the descriptive analytical method was used and the study instrument, which consisted of a questionnaire, was constructed. It consisted of (27) paragraphs. Which applied in randomly sample of (60) managers in the public schools of the province of Ajloun for 2017/2018.

The results showed that the role of the school in the development of social responsibility to its students from the point of view of school principals was high on the fields of education and conservation of the environment، while it was average on the field of community service. On the other hand، the results revealed that there are no statistically significant differences in the role of the school in the development of social responsibility in its students from the point of view of school principals due to the variables of gender، qualification and school level.

In the light of the previous findings، the researcher recommended the need to include social responsibility in the curriculum and conduct further studies on other samples.
