Abstract

The study aimed at uncovering the reasons for the reluctance of Hail University students to practice volunteer work and to develop a suggested scenario for activating the culture of volunteering for the students of the university by benefiting from some local and international experiences. The study used the descriptive method. The tool consisted of a questionnaire distributed to a sample of students (2852), and the statistical treatment of the results of the SPSS program and reached several results, the most prominent of which are: The axis of obstacles related to the volunteer came at an average of (2.11) with a great appreciation, and that the axis of obstacles related to volunteer organizations came at an average average (1.52) Which relates to j Spangle came with an average of (2.28) is highly appreciated, and that the focus of the obstacles related to the institutions of society came with an average of (1.81) grade average. The study also identified the reasons behind Hail University students' reluctance to practice voluntary work inside and outside the university, and then presented a suggested scenario for activating the culture of volunteer work for university students, benefiting from some local and international experiences.
