Effect of quality of work life on organizational silence In Dar Al Salam University for Science and Technology

Abstract
In this research, it is aimed to examine the effect of quality of work life (QWL) on organizational silence among the employees who serve in Dar al Salam University. The analytical descriptive approach was used in the study by collecting data from primary and secondary sources. A questionnaire was designed specifically for this purpose. The researchers used the dimensions of the quality of work life, namely :(working conditions, social relationships, safety and job stability, salary and incentives system, Participation in decision-making) and the dimension of organizational silence as data collection tools in the study. After analyzing the data using the statistical analysis program (SPSS). The results reveal that the employees have medium levels of quality of work life and organizational silence. In addition; there is a low inverse correlation between the dimensions of organizational quality of work life (QWL) and organizational silence. The results of the simple regression analysis indicated that quality of work life (QWL) had a statistically significant negative impact on the level of organizational silence.
