Attitudes of female heads of households towards the causes of divorce in the city of Onaiza and its relation to both the work of women and the financial income of the family

Abstract
The present study seeks to reveal the attitudes of women heads of family towards the causes of divorce in Onaiza city and its relationship with women's work and family's financial income. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method. The questionnaire was one of the most important tools used, applied to a sample of 91 women heads of family from Onaiza city. The study results indicated that the attitudes of more than half of the sample is neutral towards the causes of divorce in Onaiza city, there are statistically significant differences among the study sample members in their attitudes towards the causes of divorce in favor of non-working and divorced women heads of family.There is statistically significant variance between among the study sample members in their attitudes towards the causes of divorce attributed to women's work and family income for housewives and women with lower income, as well as a the negative correlation between the causes of divorce as a whole and the number of hours of work and family income, there is a positive relationship with the number and the nature of family income sources.
Finally, the researcher in her study recommends the following: - Intensifying media campaigns in the various visual, written and auditory media outlets in order to enlighten and educate the community about the risks of divorce and its effects on the family and society, - Including the issue of divorce in the educational curriculum, paying more attention to the risks and effects of this serious issue, - Holding scientific conferences, seminars and workshops to discuss the proper ways of dealing with this phenomenon(divorce), in addition to identifying the health, psychological, social and security effects on society, - Confirming the significance of raising the awareness of girls at all stages of the importance of education and work in order to increase their economic empowerment and confirm their productive role in the society, - Encouraging and building social institutions and charities for divorcees to train them on a specific profession ,through which they can find jobs to improve their financial stand
