Time management skills and their relation to educational achievement in a sample of gifted students in the secondary stage in the State of Kuwait

Abstract

The objective of this research was to identify the nature of the relationship between the skill of time management and the academic achievement of gifted students in the secondary stage in the State of Kuwait. The comparative descriptive approach was used. The sample consisted of (492) students in the secondary stage in Kuwait. (2002). The study concluded that there is a strong, positive and statistically significant relationship between the skills of time management and achievement of gifted students in the secondary stage in the State of Kuwait. The results revealed a statistically significant difference between the achievement of talented students The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the sample according to the type of game in all time management skills, and the differences were in favor of the students playing the group games. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average of the sample members in the time management skill according to the grade. The differences were for the gifted students in the 12th grade
