Abstract

The present study aimed to know the relationship between social support and psychological security, to reveal the level of social support and psychological security among the members of the research sample, and to reveal the differences between the average responses of the individuals of the research sample on the scale of social support and psychological security according to the following variables (gender type of orphan) the research sample consisted of (90) adolescents, and the research used the social support and psychological security scale prepared by the researcher. the results of the study showed the existence of a positive correlation relationship with statistical significance between the degrees of the research sample on the social support scale and their scores on the psychological security scale, the presence of a large degree of social support and a medium level of psychological security among the members of the research sample, and the absence of statistically significant research sample according to for the variable (gender, type of orphan) on the scale of social support and the scale of psychological security.
