Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the requirements for the development of scientific research in Yemeni universities from expert perspective. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used, and the Statute as a tool for data collection, provided a sample of scientific research experts in Yemeni universities, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Studies and Research Center and the Academic Accreditation Council, their number (34) Expert, using the Delphi technique. The study reached a set of results, most notably: the approval of the sample (experts) was very high on the requirements for the development of scientific research in Yemeni universities, with a mean of (2.86 out3) and a percentage of (95%) This is due to the importance of these requirements for the development of scientific research in Yemeni universities. The study has made a number of recommendations: amendment and activation of existing legislation, issuing new legislation, to consolidate global research developments, find a general strategy, update plans, programs, methods, infrastructure and technical, and diversify sources
