The requirements of the application of electronic administration in Riyadh schools in Saudi Arabia to increase the effectiveness of educational decisions

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of application of electronic administration in the schools of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relation to the effectiveness of the educational decision. The study sample consisted of (371) teachers and teachers who were randomly selected. A two-pronged tool was used: the first to measure the degree of application of electronic management, and the second to measure the effectiveness of educational decisions. The validity and stability of the instrument were verified. The average overall score of electronic management was 2.726, with a standard deviation of 0.62, medium and average for the total score and the standard deviation of the total score in the field of informatics, where the overall average is 2.84 with a standard deviation of 0.844 and a medium grade. The average score of the total field of administrative services reached (2.77), with a standard deviation of (0.98), and (average) (.83), and (medium) and showed the results of the study That the degree of application of e-governance in schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came moderately on all areas and on the scale as a whole. And that the effectiveness of the educational decision came to a medium degree in all areas and on the scale as a whole. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the effect of the sex variables and the scientific qualification on all fields related to electronic management, while there were differences in the years of experience for the years of experience (10 years and more). The results also showed no differences due to the impact of gender variable on all areas related to the effectiveness of educational decision. While there were differences in the scientific qualification in the field of identifying alternatives in favor of the bachelor's degree and the existence of differences in the years of experience in the field of problem identification for the benefit of the category of experience (10 years and more). The results showed a positive positive relationship between the application of electronic management and the effectiveness of educational decision.

In light of the results reached, the researcher recommends a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the provision of financial support to the IT centers in schools for the transformation of e-administration, emphasizing the training of managers in general, and teachers in general, on the use of electronic management in administrative and technical school work.
