The Reality of the Excellence Management Application among the Secondary Schools Principals in Directorate of Education of Irbid Qasba

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the reality of applying excellence management among the secondary school principals of the Directorate of Education Qasba Irbid, and to know whether there are statistically significant differences due to the variables: gender, qualification and years of experience. The descriptive approach based on the collection of information from the members of the study that represented the total community of 62 managers and managers in the city of Irbid was applied to a questionnaire consisting of (20) paragraphs distributed on the dimensions of excellence management for administrative excellence: (Leadership, policies and strategies, management practices, community services).
The results of the study showed that the arithmetical average of the implementation of the excellence management standards in the secondary school principals of the Directorate of Education in Qusba Irbid reached (3.73) and to a high degree, where the arithmetic averages of the dimensions of excellence management ranged from 3.84 to 3.99. (3.94) and high, the third ranked administrative practices with an average of (3.90) and high, and in the fourth rank the services provided by the school to the community with an average of 3.84, And to a degree Middle, the average arithmetic mean of the total reached after (3.91) and high degree. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance of αα 0.05 in the response of the sample of the study on the application of excellence management to secondary school principals in Irbid due to the study variables (gender, years of administrative experience and scientific qualification). The study recommended a set of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which are: Emphasizing the implementation of the criteria of administrative excellence among school principals at all levels of education, decentralization and delegation of authority to the administrative staff in the school and the provision of objective administrative standards to assess the level of administrative performance of school principals in the Qasba of Irbid.
