Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the reality of higher education funding in many advanced countries such as, America, Britain, Japan and Australia. Additionally, suggested some ideas to benefit from the previous experience in Saudi higher education funding. The study used comparative analytical descriptive methods. Finally, the study provides some recommendations presented in the need of searching about alternative funding resources for Saudi higher education, institutions, business sectors and individuals should highly participant in higher education funding and facilitate procedures that can attract more investors to invest in higher education filed.
