Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the relationship between the level of parents' culture and the attitudes of their children towards online learning among the students of the upper elementary stage in Mafraq governorate. The researcher used the analytical descriptive method. To achieve the goal of the study, A random sample of (184) students and (368) of their parents from the primary secondary government schools at the Directorate of Mafraq Education. The results showed that the level of parents' culture towards learning via the Internet is high and with a mathematical average (3.51), and that the attitudes of children towards online learning were positive with average (3.90) ,The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in the level of parents' culture towards learning through the internet due to the variables (gender and scientific qualification) 0.83) between parent culture and their children's attitudes towards online learning. In the light of the results, a number of recommendations and proposals were presented to raise the level of parents' culture and their children's attitudes towards learning through the Internet.
