Abstract

The study aimed to identify the training needs of the new teachers from the point of view of the principals of the basic schools in the Directorate of Education of Bani Obaid/ Irbid, The sample of the study consisted of (80) managers and principals. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (44) items distributed in the fields of planning for teaching, implementation of teaching, classroom evaluation, classroom management, The tool was verified by presenting it to a group of specialized arbitrators. The tool was confirmed using Cronbach Alpha)، equation and reached (86.4%). The results of the study showed that the degree of training needs of the new teachers was medium in all fields. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the variables of sex, qualifications and years of experience. Training requirements for classroom planning, classroom assessment and classroom management.
