Abstract

Over the past two decades, the number of mobile phones in many countries has increased rapidly, from hundreds of thousands to millions, in one country! The use of the phone can negatively affect the driver's physical and cognitive performance and his or her ability to make critical and correct decisions. The driver can read incoming messages or write them, or speak in depth, distracting and distracting. An essential element of good driving is vigilance, that is, attention to every distraction. There are a lot of behaviors during driving that the driver loses his attention, such as eating, smoking and selecting stations that are on the radio, (Jawwal) during driving. The study has been studied in order to identify the extent of the impact of telephone concern on traffic accidents as well as identify the main causes of accidents and help in the development of solutions and proposals to reduce this problem in the future This study follows the analytical descriptive method Where describe the variables associated with the study, The results of the study showed that the preoccupation with the phone has a great relation to traffic accidents and it may be one of the biggest causes and can increase the probability of the accident. The dangers of exposure to accidents both types multiply nine times if the drivers were busy driving to take something in the car, while the dangers multiply three times if busy for mobile devices. , As it can be the accident less than a second ie that just to catch his phone happens the incident to it. We also proved that the phone loses the driver's concentration significantly on driving and may cause traffic accident affected by the driver and his mobile phone as well as a large percentage of the sample know and know the dangers and negative effects, most of them busy with his phone driving the car, and we have developed recommendations to develop devices to monitor who uses his phone during Driving and Violation It seems that the current penalty is not enough to deter this phenomenon, so we recommend raising the money for everyone who uses his phone while driving.
