Evaluation of books of Islamic education developed for the upper grades of the primary stage according to the knowledge economy from the point of view of teachers and educational supervisors in the Holy Capital

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of observance of the requirements of the knowledge economy in the books of Islamic education in the primary stage (higher grades) in the city of Mecca.
The researcher used the descriptive method. The tool was a questionnaire and a content analysis card. The researcher selected a random sample consisting of (15) educational supervisors and (300) teachers in addition to all the books of Islamic education developed for the upper grades of the primary stage . The analysis was carried out using statistical program (SPSS) and Excel program. The coefficient of alpha kronbach was used to calculate the stability factor of (0.930) and (Holistic coefficient) to calculate the stability of the content analysis. And the Pearson coefficient to calculate the validity of the internal consistency. (Repetations and percentages - the arithmetic average - the standard deviation - the T-Test tests - the ONE-WAY ANOVA analysis was done using the SPSS program; The study reached a number of results, notably:
1- The degree of Islamic education books developed for the requirements of the knowledge economy from the point of view of teachers and educational supervisors came to a high degree according to the arithmetic averages, respectively (the field of cognitive growth - the field of social growth - the economic field) with the mean average of (2.86) (2.81) and 0.247-0.267. The national field came with an average of (2.85), then the technological field (2.81), the field of communication with an average of 2.78, and finally the field of mental growth with an average of 2.77 ) All came at a high level according to the scale of the arithmetical averages, as shown T that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) between the averages of the study sample responses according to the variable (Educational Qualification-years Brh- training courses).
The results of the content analysis showed that the highest domains were ranked descending according to their relative weight. This is the area of ​​cognitive growth with a relative weight of 46.22%, followed by social growth with a relative weight of 22.08%, then mental growth with a relative weight of 11.86% (3.74%), the technological field with a relative weight (2.29%). In the light of the results, the study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is a review of Islamic education courses Developed at the primary level, so that the field of mental growth is further included the technological field and the need for brain development China's relative weight suitable for each area of ​​knowledge economy, and then make sure adequacy in the curricula of public education, and is a reference Almtora textbooks, conducting a similar study relating to the assessment of developed textbooks for various classes of all stages of public education.
