Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the measurement of the effectiveness of the learning strategy using the concept maps on students' achievement in computer science for the first secondary grade in Dhahran City, Saudi Arabia. To achieve this goal, the programming unit was selected from the computer book In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the semi-experimental method was used. The study was applied to a sample of 33 students divided into two groups: the first is an officer (16) students The results of the analysis of the students 'scores on the achievement tests in the tribal and remote applications were examined using the analysis of the accompanying variance: There were statistically significant differences between the students' average achievement on the achievement test according to the group variable, For the students of the experimental group, and there were statistically significant differences between the average marks of the students on the achievement test according to the variable of the group, in favor of students In the light of the results, the researchers recommended a set of recommendations to activate the use of conceptual maps in teaching.
