Abstract

The study aims at shedding light on some transformations in the female mentality of Saudi Arabia in relation to some cultural and social values, in addition to the factors that led to the formation of this mentality which led to these transformations. The study employs a qualitative approach. The study cases consisted of 15 female cases in the age group 18- 25 years, selected by observation, and the data were collected from them based on the semi-direct interview. The results showed that there is a high degree of awareness in the studied cases, distinguishing between what is forbidden and what is socially prohibited. Most of them have new views and perceptions, but they refrain from expressing them for fear of the power of outlook and classification and a desire to achieve social acceptance, which prompted some of them to resort to express under pseudonyms, and even to create accounts other than their personal accounts to defend their convictions that do not find acceptance in their surroundings. They look forward to a future in which autonomy and materialism are realized by their dreams, some of which have exceeded geographical boundaries.
