Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the basic elements of curricula in general and Arabic language curricula in particular, and study and analyze the approach of the two intermediate languages ​​in the light of the general standards and principles of the Arabic language curricula, and identify weaknesses in the design of this curriculum. The analytical descriptive method based on previous studies was used to suit the nature of this research. The research sample consisted of the contents of the book of the two intermediate languages ​​for the first intermediate grade for the year 1432-1433 AH. The results of the research showed that the educational applications of the standards and the scientific bases for the construction of the Arabic language curricula were included in this curriculum, starting with the components and ending with the activities and the exercises, and that the approach of the immortal languages ​​developed for the first intermediate grade depends primarily on the strategies that the teacher does. The weakness of the educational outcomes of the learner, despite the quality of the objectives and the content, is attributed to the weakness of some aspects of the educational system, namely the methods of teaching and evaluation, and the apparent lack of the teacher in the existence of a standard or a major test on which to evaluate the learner. The researcher recommended activating the book of activity in a way that helps to achieve the educational skills to be achieved, and guide the teacher to the general goals of teaching my immortal language and the way to achieve those goals, and this may be through the design of workshops between teachers and supervisors. In addition, our current research recommended linking the curriculum of the two languages ​​to the different curricula through activities and training through the activation of modern technological means, and that schools should be equipped with modern technology and technology such as audio and visual equipment.
