The implementation of the health-enhancing school program from the point of view of the science teachers in the schools applied to the program in Asir region

Abstract
The objective of the current research is to investigate the reality of the implementation of the health-enhancing school program from the point of view of the science teachers in the schools in the Asir region. To achieve this goal, a five-pronged questionnaire was designed for the health-promoting school program, which was distributed to the research sample. The sample consisted of forty (40) randomly chosen teachers from the six education departments of Asir region. The results of the research have resulted in a significant impact on the implementation of the health-enhancing school program in achieving the main components of the program and increasing the practice of these schools for health-promoting programs and providing appropriate conditions for inculcating healthy values and behavior in the emerging world. And published in the school community and the surrounding community in general and the results are as follows: Health education and services are practiced to a large extent and a general average (2.40%). While the school environment and services are practiced; an average of (2.43%). The average school health services (2.38%) and nutrition and food safety services were average (2.41%). All of them are exercised to a large extent, and finally; communication with the community and health awareness at an average (2.40%). Which is exercised to a medium degree. In the light of these results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is to disseminate the program to a larger number of schools to include all future schools in the ministry. In addition to the importance of cooperation between the Ministries of Education and Health to invest this program in the prevention of many of the health problems prevalent in the community. As well as focus on the contents of the curriculum to promote health and focus on sexual problems and the problems of modern technology and the causes of organic diseases such as poor vision and psychiatric diseases such as tension and convulsions.
