The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of e-learning at the Faculty of Education, Sebha University, during times of crisis, with a focus on its sustainability, the interaction of faculty members and students, and the main obstacles hindering its optimal implementation. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical method, using a questionnaire administered to 50 faculty members. The findings revealed that the level of sustainability was moderate (2.55), as was student interaction (2.47) and faculty interaction (2.43). Similarly, the level of obstacles was also moderate (2.35). These results indicate that e-learning still faces challenges that limit its effectiveness, necessitating the development of technological infrastructure, the provision of a stable learning environment, and the implementation of training programs for faculty and students. In addition, strategic contingency plans are required to ensure continuity. The study further recommended offering incentives to enhance positive interaction, as well as providing administrative and institutional support to overcome organizational and managerial obstacles.
